War of the Worldviews
Colossians Chapter 1:15
Jesus Christ; Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven.
The History of Creation
Genesis 1 ~ 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.' We have all read it, the six days of creation. Some of our brothers and sisters in Christ have chosen to interpret the days as a literal 24 hours, others choose to take the Hebrew word for day - "yom" to mean age (a long period of time), for "yom" can be used either way. Both agree that God is our Creator and whether by day or age created the Heavens and the Earth and all things. This topic of biblical creation is so very important. Sadly, I have heard God's people argue that this holds no bearing on salvation, that it is a no big deal subject, I disagree.
Until quite recently I did not even think about creation or cared what the world was teaching, I would say - "it doesn't matter, it doesn't affect my faith"... but it does; Mark 16:15, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. And tell me, just how am I to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to a nation of people that believe we evolved from apes and those apes evolved from nothing? And they believe it so strongly because this nation has been teaching just that as scientific fact in our public schools since the turn of the twentieth century.
The teaching of Darwin's Theory of Evolution as science has always been a methodical system designed to deny the existence of God and His judgment on man, to deny the absolute need for Jesus Christ and His Atonement, for the approaching 2nd Judgement.

Darwinism VS Creationism
The War for Our Children's Souls |
Let's look at what is going on
The secular evolutionary worldview is taught as if it were established fact, and it is not. Darwin's Theory of Evolution has been and is being propagated to our nation's children, supported by our tax dollar even though it has non-existent evidence. Beware, they use terms and expressions that asserts (state a fact or belief confidently and forcefully) that this theory has truth. They defend the theory tooth and nail, insulting any who oppose it. It is so embedded in the mind of many, even self-professing Christians that no matter what you say they will stamp you anti-science and continue to march to the Evolutionists beat. Adding further insult to injury, the footstools of this theory have already begun to be kicked out, discrediting major components with the help of scientists both secular and Christian, and in-light the intellectual movement towards Intelligent Design Theory has strongly emerged, yet Darwinists continues to build their tower of Babel.
Remind me again why it matters if our Nation's children think they
Because if people think they are animals they will act like animals, truly, it's that simple. "Oh please, not everyone acts like an animal, there are plenty of good citizens that believe in this type of evolution." and Berkeley University would agree, stating "Part of evolutionary theory includes the idea that all organisms on Earth are related. The human lineage is a small twig on the branch of the tree of life that constitutes all animals. This means that, in a biological sense, humans are animals. We share anatomical, biochemical, and behavioral traits with other animals. For example, we humans care for our young, form cooperative groups, and communicate with one another, as do many other animals. And of course, each animal lineage also has behavioral traits that are unique to that lineage. In this sense, humans act like humans, slugs act like slugs, and squirrels act like squirrels. It is unlikely that children, upon learning that they are related to all other animals, will start to behave like jellyfish or raccoons." No, they won't act like jellyfish, but that statement is a mockery and blinder to the realities; that under this theory, which attempts to explain life without God the Creator present, our nation has become more secular, more liberal, giving rise to lukewarm Christianity which is causing America to crumble. Do I really need to list the mountain of problems? Government dependency, an explosion of sexual promiscuity, abortion, single-parent families, collapsed marriages, gay marriages, psychologically damaged children, high crime rates, high poverty rates, lack of compassion, lack of respect, the list goes on and on and on. "Really!?" Yes really, because without a Creator, Religion can be cast aside, Heaven and Hell do not exist, and without consequences to one's actions moral law will be ignored. 2 Peter 3:5, For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water. Confidence in who we are and what our purpose is in life is lost without Christ, we have a people searching their wholes lives to "find themselves". As a result of these lost souls, we have low self-esteem, now needed to be puffed up with material goods or self-help comforters, resulting in false pride and even more brokenness.
Eric Hovind, President and Founder of organization, Creation Today grew up in a Christian home and was immersed in the world of apologetics, he in one of his interviews admits that the argument for evolution kept him from developing a true and personal relationship with Christ even though he argued against it. And it wasn't until after his college graduation in 1999, that he found Christ and began a full-time ministry. Note; I did not save the source of that interview I saw - if I find it I will link it.

If only they knew... |
Psalm 139:14
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
And for those of us that already teach our children about God and Creation...
So, what is my point; that it is very important to teach apologetics to our children, it is very much another piece to their Armour, but that no matter how awesome their belt, sword and breastplate they are defeatble without the shield and helmet.
